NUTRITION
Ever since I
chose to specialise in Food and Nutrition for the final year of my
degree and more recently as part of my diploma in Personal Training,
my interest and knowledge of the subject has expanded and grown.
Food plays a
major role in our life and we are bombarded daily with new
information about which foods are "good" for us and which are "bad"
making the decision process of what to eat more and more confusing.
Like a lot of
people I have tried various "diets" all with the same result of that
lost weight creeping back on. Through my experience I have learnt
the best way to maintain a healthy weight is to enjoy healthy
eating. Crash dieting and starving yourself does not work,
cutting down on your calorie intake together with choosing
energising body boosting foods and regular exercise does work.
There is a lot
of information out there and I can point you in the right direction.
